Hello there, Beloved!
Has it just been me or has life been off the hook nuts lately? Oh, wait, I know it’s not just me. Things have been nuts.
This is part of the reason behind my hiatus. With all that is happening in the country, I’ve been writing more about political things. But it’s time to focus back on my passion project, helping ADHDers declutter.
Regardless of what’s happening politically, clutter will still be here. As I get older, I realize there are far more things beyond my control than those that I can control. Like my attitude. Or to choose to embrace love over fear. Or… feel a sense of peace when I walk into my home at the end of a hard day’s work, because I’ve chosen to create a peaceful and clutter-free environment.
It sounds so simple and in some ways; it is. But it isn’t. Especially for us ADHDers. Just thinking about decluttering can trigger overwhelm so you’re stopped before you even start.
That’s why I created a new Substack series just for us: Decluttering ADHD.
Each Tuesday, I’ll share practical tips, gentle humor, and mindset shifts to help you clear the clutter — in your home, your schedule, and your mind. No perfectionism, no Pinterest-ready closets required.
📦 Here’s what’s coming:
Why clutter feels so personal (especially for ADHDers)
How to start when you don’t know where to start
What to do with the weird, sentimental, and guilt-ridden stuff
And how decluttering can become an act of rebellion and self-care
And other little goodies too:
ADHD Clutter Confession of the Month (Reader-submitted story)
A Q&A or Ask-Me-Anything post
Downloadable Templates
A playlist for decluttering
If you’re ready to claim a little peace in your space and your head, I’d love for you to join me. This is YOUR time! See you on Tuesday.
We’re in this together!💕
I send you love and good decluttering juju,
Theresa
